Once you have read these instructions, please return to the JobMail Input Form. Further information about JobMail is available in the JobMail FAQ.

Personal Details:
Please input your first and last names on separate, together with your current email address. Note that it is now possible to have multiple JobMail entries using the same email address - for further details please refer to the JobMail FAQ.

Please Email Details of Jobs in the These Categories...
You may select a number of categories from the list provided. Note that if you select "All Categories" it will override any individual selections you have made.

...and the Following Locations:
Again, you may select a number of categories from the list, but if you select "All Locations" these selections will be automatically overridden.

Permanent or Contract
This paramater is of particular relevance to the Information Technology category, where there are a large number of contract positions offered. Most other categories generally offer permanent positions only, in which case it is best to leave the default selection of "Both Permanent and Contract".

JobMail Frequency
Allows you to select the frequency at which you would like to receive JobMail emails. If you're actively looking for a new position you may wish to receive daily emails to ensure that positions were not filled before you were informed about them, while if you'd like to occasionally keep abreast of opportunities in your area you might select the monthly option.

Send JobMail if No Matching Jobs?
Select "YES" if you would like to receive JobMail even if there are no matches for your criteria.

Send Positions That Require Australian Residency?
Select "NO" if you would like to exclude positions that require applicants to have the right to live and work in Australia.

Send Full Text of Available Jobs?
Select "YES" only if you would like to receive the full text of available positions listed on the Byron Employment Service. Note that in some cases this can lead to very long emails of up to 250 kilobytes.

Optional Key Words
Using key words will limit the number of positions returned by the search, and can help you avoid reviewing long lists of jobs that are not relevant to your requirements. The search is case-insensitive and the key words are combined together using an OR function. As an example, if you set Key Word 1 = "sales" and Key Word 2 = "manager", you would return all positions containing the individual words "sales" or "manager", which would also include those with the combined words "sales manager".

Key words may also contain more than one word, which allows you to further narrow your seach. Setting Key Word 1 = "sales manager" would return all positions containing "sales manager" while excluding those containing only the words "sales" or "manager".

For more detail on using key words, please refer to the Key Word Selection Help File.

Mail Program Used
Specifying the mail program you generally use allows us to format the email in the most readable form. If you don't know the name of your mail program, simply select "Other" and leave the last field blank.
